Got it. Hasn't came out of my CD player in a week now! Absolutely outstanding!
The sound, even though live, is way better than the WDADU studio album. I love the jazzy-christmas instrumental breaking in Killing Hand, what a nice touch! The band is cleary ON this night. What a great piece of DT history!
I wouldn't say LaBrie is "flat" persay, but rather, songs like Status Seeker and Only A Matter of Time, were not designed for his type of delivery, so he does struggle through them. That surprised me, and gave me a new appreciation for Dominici. Likewise, Dominici has some trouble with Metropolis and To Live Forever, which favor the soaring voice of LaBrie.
All in all a wonderful purchase worth every penny. Thanks Heir to Ruin and King of Loss for the great suggestion!
