^^^^^^ NOOBIE RULES 101:

1) always start topics that have already been thouroughly discussed two days ago.

2) never bother to start topics in the correct subsection.

3) never get involved in Dream Theater threads, they only lead to pain and suffering, just like the dark side.

4) if you like Dream Theater, always contend that there can never possibly be a progressive metal band better or more complex than them.

5) always try to base your ideas on how good a band is or how good one of their offerings is based on how "progressive" they or the work is.

6) always try to define the word "progressive" in a new way, even though there are at least two that are perfectly fine.

7) never post in the "Mariah Carey" topic, for that too only leads to pain and suffering, just like the dark side.

8) bow down to stonebeard, for he will one day have the most posts, and will be king of all the land, and you don't want to get on his bad side.

You got some catching up to do, VelvetClown is only about 4400-4600 posts ahead of you, and Reed Lover (who now has taken the form of another) has about 5000 posts more than you.

narnia is just about religious bullsh*t though man.  I would avoid that film for those reasons alone.
