Q magazine in the UK have released a big special edition guide to prog called "Pink Floyd and the story of prog rock". This is an amazing book full of amazing pictures, reviews, lists, interviews, crosswords, articles and more on prog giants. Has very big sections on Soft Machine, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, ELP, Yes, VDGG, Hawkwind, Rush, Marillion and Genesis... plus huge sections on some more unknown prog bands, and the new prog artists of the 90's and beyond. only 5.99.

Actually , there was back in february a special Floyd mag, which I bought.

Is this any different than the one I talk about or is it the Q article Dick Heath mentioned in the main discussion forum?

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

This one is called Pink Floyd and the Story of Prog Rock. i would say it is about 75% other prog bands and 25% Floyd.
