I love playing and singing "Heart of the sunrise", with all its changes... But I think "Firth of fith" is the one I love most. When the guitar solo comes....WHOAO! It's orgasmic!!!

I've been playing "Soon" with my wife and friend Fred. I've got a nice patch that gives me that lap steel tone.

"Never the Same" from Echolyn and ELP's  "Lucky Man" and "From the Beginning," too.

Lotsa non-prog too.

I like to play Dream Theater - Learning To Live. On the guitar, just jamming allong to the CD ... do any of you know where I can find a backing track for guitar? I only have one for Erotomania ...

Other nice tracks that I like to play: Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 - Guitar Solo, Led Zeppelin - No Quarter, Steve Vai - Die To Live

I'm 30 years old, and I started playing an instrument at the age of 9 (electric organ). At the age of 14, I started playing the guitar, and took guitar lessons for 4 years.

I used to play in a band when I was 17-20 years old ... but during my time at the university I didn't have time for that anymore. Maybe I'll begin looking for a band again ...

Fountain of Salmacis (Genesis)

Visions of Angels (Genesis)

Yours Is no Disgrace (Yes)

Heart of the Sunrise (Yes)- this is AFTER I warmed up haha.

Jethro Tull - Aqualung

Pink Floyd - Money, Another Brick in the Wall pt 2, In the Flesh

The Eagles - Hotel California

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven

Although I must admit, they do sound a bit different on the trombone

I try to play stuff and it fails. Also, it would if i could sheet music easily. I really stick to mine own stuff/jamming. Although i have been known to play a killer Silent Night/Hava Negila (sp??) medely
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Funny... I'm also known for a killer medley. Daytripper combined with Roadrunner (essentially the exact same riff). And sometimes I mix it up with a Cygnus X-1/Hemispheres medley.

I'm a showoff, I know.

for guitar:

anything by Rush, specifically:

A Farewell to Kings (5/4 time is fun)

La Villa Strangiato (i think that's how it's spelled)

The Trees

2112 (yeah, all of it)

for drums:

almost anything by Zeppelin.

i'm trying to learn stuff from Selling England By the Pound, but having just started playing drums again after a year and a half hiatus, it's a bit hard.

for keyboard:

The Final Cut (album) by Pink Floyd

Currently transcribing "Dancing With the Moonlit Knight"

guitar: about 5 years, and i should be better than i am

drums: about 2 years, then i took a 1 1/2 year break and now i've just restarted playing

keyboard: besides a bit of noodling beforehabd, it will be a year this Christmas, but i don't practice diligently.

I play violin... hard to find 'playable' tracks (1) and then some that looks good alone (2). I am not able to play Jean Luc Ponty stuff, sorry... Never liked to play other people songs, even when I played guitar and drums. It is just boring...

Vive le Québec libre!...
