All of 'em. In particular, though, "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" and "A Saucerful Of Secrets".

Hi Guys,
Non prog live album: THE BEATLES AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL - It captured all the exciting of what were Beatlemania was, in a complete absent technical era.
The prog album: PETER GABRIEL - PLAYS LIVE - All tracks in the album are completelly different of the studio tracks. It looked like a new released album of the artist.

Hi again Snowdog - I understood your post. After re-reading a couple of times ![](smileys/smiley36.gif)
You are obviously a big fan of Camel - They are so polished as are Gentle Giant. It is such a huge shame that today's neo-prog groups seem unable to capture, quite the same atmosphere! I may get shot down for saying that however one consolation is that the uniqueness of Camel and Gentle Giant means they will probably be names coming up in forums like these for some time to come yet.
I also believe that great groups not only produce top studio albums but can produce top live performances as well. How these live performances are put down onto tape is due also to great producers in colaboration with the artists. Technology of today sorts out the rough edges in more ways than we can imagine. This only makes me marvel at the methods used in the 60's and 70's to capture some of the great live moments in prog and classic rock. Raw and in your face ![](smileys/smiley2.gif)

While you're at it Richard, I'll join you!
ELP: Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends
Best version of Tarkus I've ever heard, Greg adds the line from KC's "Epitaph" to the ending of Battlefield". Hoedown starts like a freight train and doesn't stop till the last song (for me 2 vinyl records later). Take a Pebble has a glorious solo in the middle. The entire KE9 Suite! Just the best live album ever!

^ I agree with you. Best live album ever. I'll add that Keith's Piano Improvisations is another highlight of this album..

Have a listen to Live at the Hood by Qango ..... aka
- John Wetton / lead vocals, bass, bass pedals, acoustic guitar - Carl Palmer / drums, percussion - Dave Kilminster / acoustic & electric guitars, backing vocals - John Young / keyboards, backing vocals
An Asia/ELP fusion. Not the best recording but some great guys enjoying their music!
