Well, I'm slightly pink in places and in others I think I'm a kind of pale yellow colour. Depends on the weather, the food, the drink, how much sleep I've had - what colour dominates.

My country is now considered to be one of the most multicultural places on earth but we still have our redneck elements. Overall it is pretty good though.

I must apologise to those who took it mean that I was implying that to be Caucasian is to be ignorant of other people's cultures. Even though I did say this ...

It's just that you'll be amazed at the number of people who expect you to know the difference between Washington state and DC, or Flemings and Walloons, or Prussians and Bavarians, Jocks and Geordies ... and then turn around to reveal the fact that they think 1 billion South Asians (here I'm talking about Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) and 1 billion Chinese are a homogenous lot ... my kids are 1/4 Tamil Iyer, 1/4 Malayalee Catholic, 1/4 Hakka, 1/8 Teochew and 1/8 Hokkien ... as far as back as we can trace ...

Anyway ... am returning to the music ...

Father's family came to England in about 1910 from Germany, Mother's family hail from County Mayo, Western Ireland (don't know how long ago, though), and somewhere along the line, I also became quarter jewish...

So to follow racial stereotypes, I revel in crossing borders without permission accompanied by huge blond armies, although I am p*ssed whilst doing so, and counting the pennies, too.

I do like decent German beer & Guinness though.
