With the recent efforts to promote civility and decency in the forums, do we really need albums added to the archives with the titles:

Motherf**kers G.M.B.H & Co. KG and

Motherf**kers Live

both by XHOL CARAVAN / XHOL

Confused

In both cases, the titles are not censored in the archives.

hmmm...tough call.

I can definitely see your point, but considering the albums are an artistic "work" rather than the random graffiti of the forums, I'd vote to keep them uncensored unless there's a legality issue.

Even though I'm the first one who believes there should be civility limits in the forum, I have to agree with James, because it's the title the author has chosen for his work and it has been released like that.

I remember in the late 60's the album We're an American Band was banned in USA because it had a picture of the band members naked and the label had to place a white cover over the front, but that's something of the past, there's artistic freedom supported by International Laws, even if I don't like the name of the album.

Nothing new... Zappa Mother of invention's original name was Motherf**ker of invention, but the guys at the recording company didn't like the name...  and in the wave of Ivan's quote, the original Abraxas sleeve was banned in my country; the censorship men didn't like the white dove between the legs of a magnificent black magic woman. I don't know if it was for sexist or racist matters...

Kick out the jams , Motherf**kers!!!!!
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
