It has been some time since I have heard the lp, but I remember being pleasantly surprised. A pretty solid effort.

A very good album
Although the album bears Nick Mason's name it's, to all intents and purposes, a Carla Bley album.She wrote every song on the album,arranged it and played keyboards.
It is a good addition to any Canterbury

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

I remember hating it, honestly. But it's been years since I've heard it, so maybe it's not as bad as I think. Actually, I'm sure I have it on vinyl, up in the attic of my parents' house. I'm not about to travel cross-country just to give it another ch

It's not really a NICK MASON album, as was already mentioned it is primarily a CARLA BLEY album that MASON plays drums on. It is alright, and probably better than MASON's only real solo album called "Profiles" that he recorded with RICK FENN of ex-10CC

Mediocre album with Carla Bley at the helm. But Wyatt manages to lift the mood on the more sombre tracks. The mood generally though is mean't to be lightweight hence the title. I far prefer Mason's involveme
