De Niro, 'nuff said.

Remember:
I'm refering to the film, not De Niro's performance.

"Taxi Driver" is in my top 5 of all-time. "The Deer Hunter" is my second choice.

Peace & take care

His performance of the young Godfather is simply outstanding.

De Niro is a great actor, but usually very overacted, in this movie he was sober and perfect for the role.

"Angel Heart" not listed? Oh well, even though I love it, it wasn't the best film he did by a long shot. I'd like to say "Brazil", but in all honesty "Goodfellas" is one I'll watch any time. And "Taxi Driver" and "Raging Bull" are so powerful...ugh, and what about "Jackie Brown"? He was so believable as a has-been small-time stoned-out ex-con...

damn you, BillyShears! Another decision I'm too wishy-washy to make!

'Goodfellas' is maybe the best thing Scorsese has ever done. And a damn great film.

Hard one. De Niro is one of the 5 to 10 sacred monsters, right now I can't make a choice.

Please forgive me for my crappy english!

I'd say Brazil, but DeNiro didn't have much of a role in it.

Without a doubt De Niro has been in some of the greatest films of the last 30 years.

Godfather Part 2,Taxi Driver,The Deer Hunter,Goodfellas,Raging Bull,Once Upon A Time In America and Casino:wow,what a portfolio!
Hard to choose a favourite performance, probably as Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver.

Best film,man that's a difficult one.

The Deer Hunter is Cimino's masterpiece not De Niro's.Every scene is so carefully constructed and every frame matters.
The film I enjoy most is Goodfellas;wonderfully edited and an ensemble piece of perfection,De Niro and Pesci at their malicious, magnificent best.
Soo best De Niro film, probably Raging Bull.More La Motta than"The Bull" himself, nor is it a sympathetic portrayal.Gritty and wonderful.Big smile

"Brazil"

But DeNiro's best performance has got to be "Raging Bull."
