A publicity shot, would you believe - presumably for

'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

If Emerson's not available for a gig, they could always get Lake's partner in pies; Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you Mr Thjis Van Leer (widescreen version)

Looks like my old geography teacher Mr Rook.

How old is this dude, now? Any idea?

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I suppose Metropolis is a young 18 year old dude that can guzzle tons of beer and swallow a pizza before going to sleep, and wake up next morning without having gained one ounce.

Careful dude, it will not always be that way. Van Leer may not have aged that well, but he is still Van Leer. This alone commands a bit more respect. the extra fourty kilos make no difference to the human he is. This goes for Greg lake also.

You shall face Threefates's wrath and know fear from that moment on as well as having your balls turn blue (her favorite curse dispelled on ELP critcs).

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
