Sorry to make a big announcement about this, but to whom it may concern, i'm leaving. These forums have been fun, but at this point in my life i have some major issues to sort out, and constantly talking about prog isnt helping much. I never expected this forum to take such time out of my life (or destroy my social life), and ive realized that too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Im thankfull for meeting all you interesting folks, and also for all the pointers/suggestions/intelligent conversation, but its time for me to move on. I'll still visit the site on occasion, but i doubt i'll be back to the forum for awhile. M@x and Maani, you guys have a great site, and im glad to have helped in my own small way.

anyway,

everyone take care, and im sure i'll see you all in a not too distant future

Keep on PROGGIN'!

TMB (Jesse)

Cheers Jesse

It was fun having you here and I hope you'll come back every now and again. You'll be missed.

Adieu means forever goodbye. Why be so harsh? Just say: Au Revoir!

Take care man.

TMB:

We're gonna miss you!!

Your position is not odd: so many of us have found - sometimes all too late!  - that this site is so addictive if can wreck marriages!  (Well, actually, I hope I'm kidding...)

Your participation and contributions will not be forgotten.  If you think you can return without the site becoming cyberspace heroin, please do join us occasionally.  If not, we understand.

Best wishes to you and yours!

Peace.

Why is it always the Canadians who see the light of reality first?

MB, you are a fine member of this rather strange community; drop us a line from time to time, eh?

Take care & I hope all is well with you.

Good luck with everything, and I hope it all works out!

We'll see you later then!

For Absent Friends

Sunday at six when they close both the gates
a windowed pair,
still sitting there,
Wonder if they're late for church
and its cold so they fasten their coats
and cross the grass, they're always last.

Passing by the padlocked swings,
the roundabout still turning,
ahead they see a small girl
on her way home with a pram.

Inside the archway
the priest greets them with a courteous nod.
He's close to god.
Looking back at days of four instead of two.
Years seem so few.
Heads bent in prayer
for friends not there.

Leaving twopence on the plate,
they hurry down the path and out the gate
and wait to board the bus
that ambles down the street.

One for the road...
