I like a lot of those artists, I chose Dire Straights. They've got a few essentials yaknow. I like their style

don't know whether I'd called them Blues Rock, but of the bands listed Dire Straits are my favourites.

Joe Walsh has put out some fantastic music over the years. "The Smoker
You Drink The Player You Get" and "So What?" are both top notch albums
without any bad tracks.

Blimey thats hard to chose!
Dylan has been part of my life since i was born so i would probably chose him. His lyrics are so profound and wonderfully poetic.
but then I love some of Neil Youngs albums, his guitar on tracks like Cortez The Killer make me totally lose myself.
Oh and Ive been listening to The Doors all evening ...
