 Topic: Will hippies come back?

They were there in the late 60s/early 70s...many vanished, but some carried on with their 'hippiness'. One thing I would like to know is: will hippies ever come back?

Hippies were for the most part just a bunch of sacrificial lambs following a few real hippies so that they could look cool.
The modern day version of this are "thugz" also known as "ganstaz"

That's an interesting idea, and many people DO become slaves to fashion. Only I prefer the idea of the real hippy to the idea of 'thugz' etc...at least the hippies' music was fantastic! 1967 was a good year...

the true hippie vanished quickly. Hippe comes from the African word "hep", meaning wise, and aose from the late 50's. Soon though they died out and their culture was stolen into fashion, and as Hangedman said, they became "lambs".

they're still around, and they live in victoria.
seriously though, i know the 'look' has made a slight comeback, but....but.....yeah they're back.
