this was,it is,and will be and hystorical battle foredoomed to merge one of prog's most glittering geniuses...a fusion of sounds that vibrates with flutes and guitars...gilmour was natively endowed with the capacity of following the pattern of his music...he,as a conceptual pioneer of prog, raised us with his presence...there is no pain you are receiding,a distant ship smokes on the horizon, you are only coming through in waves, your lips move, but i can't hear what you're saying...best voice of prog!!!a truely genius...

ian anderson sanctioned his work with his unique voice modelled by a school of art, determined to enter the bustle of prog-industry...what he particularizes himself is the armony between his genius and his musical extravagant and flamboyant live performances-really odd choreography destined to polarize the public's interest...great!!!sitting on a park bench, eyeing little girls with bad intent, snot's running down his nose, greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes...hey aqualung!!!

tough choice, isn't it...good arguments to distinguish those geniuses!!!good luck...waiting,waiting,..for the worms...

life is a short warm moment
and death is a long cold rest
you get your chance to try in the twinkling of an eye
eighty years with luck or even less

Ian Anderson as far as lyrics.

Gilmour as far as guitar.

I don't believe in demons
I don't believe in devils
I only believe in you

Ian Anderson no doubt.

But I'd rather listen to David Gilmour  .

Anderson, simply because of his onstage preformances. Plus many other reasons.

Jethro Tull kicks ass!

But don't forget the Moody Blues :)

Anderson
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Enjoy the music.

You're a sadist, making us choose between them.. I voted for Anderson but I don't think that was fair for Gilmour.

yes, hes truly a genius. The true power of PF was Waters. Gilmours solo works are nothing special either.

Ian Anderson is one of the patriots of prog
