I think it's not even illegal where I live . Allows me to discover a lot of good music without having to pay for all of it. |

Hummm.. just paid $95 for the 'War of the worlds' collecters edition...is 6 disks, 80 page book and a DVD though. But all time for me was 60 pounds, about $120 for the LP of 'Pentatuch of the cosmogany' by Greenslade and Patrick Woodroffe. If ya dont know it, it was insane, a huge LP covered size book of fantasy paintings that went with the double LP of prog. Was unreal. |

It's $20 at Costco? Awesome. I've been putting off buying that album for a long time now because it's so expensive everywhere else. |

I once paid $20.00 for a Genesis "collectable", recorded 11/25/1973 at the Felt Forum in N.Y.C. I had never had a collectable before so I was surprised (and originally a bit upset) with the paper-thin sound quality. But once my ears got adjusted...those versions were really sonic. They were letting it all loose that day. "Watcher of the Skies", Steve put a really loud and astral echo effect on the short guitar solos there. You could hear the audience cheer in delight - after a brief pause of daze - following each Hackett solo on that song. A far cry from the low-key junk they did (of the same song and songs) on the sham called "Genesis Live", which was recorded only 8 months prior. Edited by ldlanberg |

well if you want to buy The Wall, i'll cost you around $32 (i'm not good at conversions, but that probably works out to 35 million pesos, 500 yen, or about 1.5 euros) I could have bout a hard-to-find Flaming Lips early release for about $30-40 on Ebay, but Ebay confuses me, so I didn't.

About £18 i think. Far too expensive. Wasn't even a double album. *NEVER SHOP AT VIRGIN UNLESS IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY*

I got Angladgard's Hybris from www.znrcds.com for like 17 bucks. Their specialty is progressive music.

the most I did was $15 or so. I get mine on ebay, hopefully I won't pay $1,200 for one but I just got Day for Night by Spock's Beard for $0.88 and Fugazi and Clutching at Straws by Marillion for a total of $12 or so

Being the "Holdsworth" fanatic that I am, I spent between 30 to 40 dollars on some imports for Allan's more obscure works.
