Is anyone familiar with the psychedelic jazz of the masterful and delirious Sun ra?

I consider Atlantis as a real masterwork...and sorry but I think it is progressive music: sensational worldy jazz with prog and psychedelic arrengements, unique!! a radical experience!!!

I have "Solar Myth Approach Vol. 1 & 2". Needed some time to get into it, and I did. Amazing stuff.

I saw them at the Moers festival once and heard a concert on the radio. They are a borderline case; one might as well call Peter Brötzmann "prog" if one includes Sun Ra. But then on the other hand a band like Annexus Quam is in here too, yet Anima (Germany) is missing.

BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue.
