Good to see you in the forum Hugues, we don't hear enough of you!
Can I just say I love your reviews, especially as you cover many of the more "obscure bands". Your incisive comment and a detailed knowledge is enlightening.

Just thought I would bring this back so the newer members can get a good laugh too. Still is the funniest thing I read on this forum.
Sigh..... Just is not like the old days....

if we are Spinal Tap then shouldn't we decide to not change the lightbulb and just sit in the corner musing about how it is now....

Actually Peter it is 168 (the same 2 people to post again 2 days later apparently not having left after all)
|
One to point out they are not 176 but 170, and another one to point out
that no, actually they are only 168, which actually makes them 170
again (the 168 + the one who claimed it had been 170+ the one who
claimed it had been 168 only), and with me posting 171 even. Not
counting the ones who posted in the meantime.

I think we all know who that one is. And I bet that in that picture Greg is changing the lightbulb without a shirt, and probably without trousers too.

Damn! They just copy the classic 70s lightbulbs, and that's it! Just look at some of these new lightbulbs which combine different aspects of lightbulbs from several decades and yet create an unique, unseen light!

Yes, one of the all-time funniest, to be sure! Good ol' Easy was certainly INSPIRED when he tapped out that one!
Also, if you like whimsy, check out the humour to be found on the old "Desert Island" thread which I recently resurrected in the "main lounge." That one was a bit of a fave hereabouts, for a while. I especially enjoy Jim Garten's contributions, and Danbo's posts there are hilarious (and not just for the pre-school spelling and grammar) too!
BTW, the "Dutch youth" was, of course, our own little Joren -- our first child.
Then there was that "killer robots" thread -- my overall fave, though it "petered" out....
(Can't recall the original title or topic....)
Later, losers!
Smile, you pathetic progholes-- I'll pay for the stitches....

Man, that is so true... He exactly showed the forum as it is...
Although this was posted in last october, it seem like it's still exactly the same here. So nothing has changed since then?!... How can those who are there since more than a year still be here? Wow, bravo guys!
3 to post huge pictures of lightbulbs
This was the most funny one, seriously!
