Uh, dunno if this has been done anywhere (I did a search and found nothing) but basically people can post any new cd's they've purchased here. And discuss them. Today I got Ugly Kid Joes "Motel California". £2.25 on Ebay. |

Today I bought: Winds - The Imaginary Direction Of Time: Marvellous. Psychotic Waltz: Into The Everflow / Bleeding: Very nice ... but that's the kind of music that needs a week or two to sink in. Nile: Annihilation Of The Wicked: This is progressive Death Metal of the brutal kind ... but not prog.

Today, I got the remasters of Peter Hammill's Fool's Mate, VDGG's Godbluff and Still Life (Can't wait to hear the live version of Gog). Those will be listened to later this evening with a few frosty cold ones.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Today I bought Rush - Moving Pictures. Not sure if I am into Rush, but for a fiver I thought 'Why not?' Also had delivered 3 Arena CDs - Pride, Songs from the Lion's Cage and Cry. Not going to open them until Sunday when the wife and kids are at a Meatloaf concert and I can listen in peace with a couple of drinks and the crockery taped down. Got to have something to look forward to! |

Now that I've listened to it all the way through: Pretty much the same as their previous albums, the production is abit better though, and it seems better balanced. |

King Crimson-Power to Believe- Unsure about some of the electric drums, but the compositions are, at their best, a fine bridge between Red and Discipline.
Al Stewert-Year of the Cat-Excellent symphonic pop in the Alan Parsons Project mold, but with more interesting lyrics. Jethro Tull-Heavy Horse-I love 70s Tull, and this one seems to live up to the quality of their better work. William Shatner-The Transformed Man- If none of you have ever heard his version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, you are missing out on one of the funniest things in the universe. |

Today I listened to Versailles "La Cathedrale du temps".A fine album in the french theatrical/symphonic style akin to Ange and Mona Lisa. Not thier best effort,it was the band's debut back in 1990.Their later albums got increasingly better, especially "Blaise et Benjamin".
