Thanks a lot for the info! I'll download all of them as soon as they become available: for sentimental reasons I like the idea of listening again to the BBC Philharmonic in the Bridgewater Hall

I don't think I can easily explain it. It's not that I don't like it, but I find it much less enjoyable than most of the others (still better than the 2nd and 4rd). But certainly it's not because of its programmatic nature. I don't know, it sounds to me like a regression in Beethoven's music evolution, especially considering that being the 6th it's between the 5th and the 7th...

I know: that is a stupid statement, but please consider its perfection from a mathematical point of view!
