I saw that M@x had checked in yesterday, thanks for notifying him, but not sure if he was able to do anything yet (such issues often are not easy to fix without turning off features which one wants for the site/ forum).  I have just turned the WYSISWYG post editor back on, and testing.< defer="" ="https://static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js/vcd15cbe7772f49c399c6a5babf22c1241717689176015" integrity="sha512-ZpsOmlRQV6y907TI0dKBHq9Md29nnaEIPlkf84rnaERnq6zvWvPUqr2ft8M1aS28on72PdrCzSjY4U6VaAw1EQ==" -cf-beacon=""rayId":"930f4024ed3a0d87","Timing":"name":"cfExtPri":true,"cfL4":true,"cfSpeedBrain":true,"cfCacheStatus":true,"version":"2025.3.0","token":"717409392a644498b4dbcbfbeafd4181"" crossorigin="anonymous">

EDIT: Turned it off again for all users.  Sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully this is a temporary thing.

It's impossible for me now to edit my posts, as that means very much code/script text.

^ Even now since I disabled the WYSIWYG post editor for all the other day? Could you please test it. That should have taken care of the code.

While I have not heard back from M@X, guess he is very busy or preoccupied with other things, I would quite like to enable that again (maybe by tomorrow) if I/we don't hear back from him. If Ian wants to disable it again under Admin Setup/Config User Settings (I went solo on doing this after a recommendation) then that seems good. I do feel more comfortable with such things being decided on and taken care of by Max. Then I would ask people to keep it disabled from their own accounts except for if they "need" it for something. Paul was mentioning it being super hard without it, there is a learning curve to many things. Not sure why that would be other than importing stars and ease of active hyperlinks, but I would think the usual kinds of discussion posts would still be easy. If others are not having problems, then having it enabled likely would do more harm than good. I know it's work aroundable even if one choose to do things a bit differently.

One can use the full replay editor, there still are multiple ways to add hyperlinks if one feels they are needed. And one can still paste in copied plain text from elsewhere if writing here is hard -- including your own word processor program or Notepad. I prefer to write things in the post boxes we have, but that means lots of typos. The WYSIWYG editor makes pasting rich text/info easier.

I followed up with M@X a few times; he showed some signs of life, but unfortunately the issue still isn't resolved. Maybe this weekend?
