Years ago, someone I was in a band with showed me an underground progressive rock band. They were probably from the 2010's and they were very unheard of (and still are). Meanwhile, the song I was given was amazing. It was very energetic with very catchy and unique guitar riffs and drumming. It was in a minor key, so it sounded kind of dark, but it was fast paced and active, so it didn't really sound boring or slow or depressing.
I remember the album cover (or EP cover) was a kraken like creature or an octopus fighting a guitarist. Anyone know what band this is and the song? I haven't had any luck searching the internet. Edited by GuitieristRevolts - 14 hours 13 minutes ago at 18:08 |

It looks like a programmer vomited code all over your post.

...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology... |

Ghede Chokra's Shark Move is the first thing that comes to my mind: ![]() But that's probably now what you're looking for, since the album above is from 1972. |

Another one that more/less fits the description is The Light in the Ocean's (*inhales*) The Pseudo-Scientific Study of Oceanic Neo-Cryptid Zoology.
