Quite a few I love here, but I am the first (and maybe last) to go with VdGG's The Least We Can Do is Wave to Each Other. Much as I really like H to He, The Least is a particularly special to me album that I seem to rate higher than most people. If that were not on the list, then I would have gone with King Crimson's Lizard.

Both King Crimson and specially VdGG are among my most loved albums. Snafu is great too.
But my vote goes to the amazing Gentle Giant debut.

Nothing I've heard I don't like here. A top ten would look something like this (some days, H to He and Lizard might switch places:

Van der Graaf Generator - H to He, Who Am the Only One
King Crimson - Lizard
Gentle Giant - Gentle Giant
King Crimson - In the Wake of Poseidon
Van der Graaf Generator - The Least We Can Do is Wave to Each Other
Curved Air - Air Conditioning
East of Eden - Snafu
Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die
Marsupilami - Marsupilami
Audience - Friend's Friend's Friend

Both VDGG albums and Lizard. Vote for The Least We Can do as this seems the most neglected by voters out of these. I also like Air Conditioning, Snafu, Poseidon, Gentle Giant and John Barleycorn.

VDGG's H to He. Once a week I dream about an overflowing toilet.
