Yes it is actually. He also did one for a rather obscure experimental indie rock kind of band a year before that called Space Needle.

Yep.  I bought that Space Needle album 100% because of the cover.  :)

Yeah, it was kind of an odd duck wasn't it? It's kind of hard to hate an album that has a song titled "where the f**k's my wallet" though. Wink

Yes it is actually.

Not a very good one.

Man, I never actually heard this or owned this one (maybe heard a little bit of it on youtube) but wow is this a really obscure one these days. I remember seeing it listed in a prog catalog in the early 90s alongside the first Echolyn album. Echolyn went on to big things while Animator remains very obscure. Oh well. That's the way it goes. Do you actually own a physical copy of this? I'd be curious where you got it from if so.

Tom Petty - Wildflowers

I prefer his solo albums over most of the heartbreakers.

Steely Dan - Katy Lied

I'm not sure if I'll understand why there's a grasshopper on the cover. Just as perplexing is the presence of Michael McDonald on here. Confused

At the risk of sounding like a patronizing twerp, i think its a play on the word 'Katydid' which is a type of Cricket/Grasshopper.. The presence of Michael Mcdonald, i cant explain.
