^ Thanks David, I've just contacted M@X about the last remaining hieroglyphics!

By the way, thanks also for your hard work about the 52 albums list. Thanks to Eugene, too! Clap

The current cover images of the Mombasa 'African Rhythms And Blues' and 'African Rhythms And Blues Vol 2' albums are not square by some margin, but excellent square versions of both of them are available at Bandcamp and Diggers Digest (.webp file, needs converting) respectively if it is felt that they should be changed. I could swap those too if you wanted me to.

Albums 7 & 8 in Julien's list are also done:

Had no track list, a tiny (150x70) cover image (replaced with a 539x364 version of the same image), wasn't formatted correctly in the Musicians Info section and was included in the Major Releases section.
Although the cassette is a live recording, it was only intended for use in promoting the band abroad, so I moved it to Official Singles, EPs, Fan Club & Promo.

Ditto, except the previous cover image was 150x101 (replaced by a version of the same image sized at 600x282).

All the other Reportaż albums, except the 1988 self-titled one, which has already been tidied up by Julien, need some work doing on the formatting, and in a couple of cases the cover images.

I couldn't find any info for fixing albums 5 & 6 in the list. Unhappy

Edit: I forgot to mention that although it does take you to the correct website, our current Reportaż official website link (http://reportaz.com/pp1/0.php3 ) gives a "Oops! That page can't be found" error message when you land there. It needs replacing with a simple https://reportaz.com/.

^ Thanks David. Nice job.

I have reformatted all Reportaz pages, but I'll let you manage the cover arts, only if you want. I have other stuff to do right now. Wink

Here is the updated list of albums to manage:

Only 37 remaining... Smile

All songs written by Ton Scherpenzeel except: Ton Scherpenzeel & Hans Eikenaar (1), Ton Scherpenzeel & Pim Koopman (6), Ton Scherpenzeel & Irene Linders (5,8,13,17,18,22)
Recorded by Kayak
Edited and mixed by Marcel Singor
Produced by Ton Scherpenzeel & Marcel Singor
Mastered by Pieter de Wagter at Equus Audio Mastering, Belgium
Sleeve design by Ton Scherpenzeel
Photography by Bert Treep

Official Release date: February 28, 2025 (not March 7)

Note: Consists of a double CD containing twenty two live tracks plus two never before heard studio recordings, plus a DVD containing live concert footage captured at Zoetermeer and Hilversum, NL, during the band's 2022 Farewell Tour. Packaged in a 6-panel digi-sleeve with a 6-page booklet.

Note 2: I have renumbered the tracks as a continuous sequence in the above list rather than starting from one on both CDs, since this was all recorded as a continuous concert. If you decide to stick with Mayer's original numbering, then the song-writing credits I have included above will need some of the track numbers editing to match (if you include these on the album page at all, that is).

* The current statement on our page saying 'CD only' isn't strictly true, since these tracks are also available on the digital versions of the album.

Two more albums done (3 & 4) on Julien's list above.

Empty track list field. Found some info here (an unofficial website). How reliable it is I wouldn't like to say, since they give the total time of the DVD as 56:55, when the sum of the individual track times that they list comes to 58:55. Hopefully they just mistyped the 8 as a 6.

Also upgraded the cover (better than the original, though still not a great image) and added a bit more background info.

Just had "TBC" in the track list field. Found info at Last.fmYouTube Music and a couple of other places. Musicians info was just a statement which included a long list of session musicians who worked with Barak on his albums:

"Recorded/Performed with: Robin Lynn, Jimmy Schultz, Tony Austin, Gabe Witcher, Zack Danzigger, Tim LeFebvre, Steve Sidelnyk, Bob Hurst, James King, Adam Benjamin, Tim Frick, Steve Mack, James Sutton, Trey O'Toole, Adam Gust, lots more"

I couldn't confirm what they all played, so all I could really do was arrange them all in a list using the normal formatting, thus:

- Musician's Name / performer
:
:
:
- Musician's Name / performer

Hope that's OK. Embarrassed

Edit: Maybe I should have just written the usual: "The instrumentation could not be confirmed at this time. If you have information, please contact the site" and left it at that. Embarrassed Please edit the album again if you think this would be better.

Replaced the cover with a slightly better image, and had a look at the other album on the Barak Moffit page, which was probably even worse than the one in Julien's list, since it had a track list from an album which would seem to belong to a totally unrelated artist (The Unreleased), that doesn't feature on PA at all.

This was the track list I found there:

1) Sunshine Silouette 4:13
2) Can't Wait To Forget About You 2:53
3) A Chorus Of Alien Ships 6:41
4) The Deviant 2:25
5) Salt 4:56
6) Cloud, Sea & Ice 3:27
7) Purple Sheep 3:49
8) Grace 4:48

No Total Time given.

The actual track list for the album (from Discogs) is this:

1. I Dream Of The Lizard People (6:04)
2. Of America (Reprise) (1:58)
3. When Did I Miss The Boat? (4:37)
4. Waking Up To Yourself In America (0:56)
5. Waking Up To Yourself In America (4:01)
6. Birdie (6:41)
7. Secret Interlude For Reptiles Seeking Allies - Part I (6:26)
8. Consumers All (8:20)
9. Birdie (Reprise) (2:37)
10. Texaco (7:41)
11. Secret Interlude For Reptiles Seeking Allies - Part II (5:13)
12. Of America (2:17)
13. America Never Weeps (2:58)
14. Baptized By Fire (2:59)

Total Time 62:48

So I swapped them.

Those other 8 songs seem to be split between the two albums in this YouTube channel, but where the track listing on PA came from is anybody's guess.

Again I swapped the cover for a better one, reformatted the same list of session musicians that had been included on the 'God is Lonely' album (though see my 'having second thoughts' edit about doing this on that previous album), and added a bit more into the Releases information section.

Since this is a Crossover Prog artist, and the person who added him is no longer active on PA, I also added cross-reference hyperlinks into both the Barak Moffitt and Infinite Monopoly biographies so that people could easily find and read more about Barak Moffitt's involvement in the two projects. No other changes were made to the text of either biography though, other than correcting a couple of spelling mistakes and eliminating one or two spaces which shouldn't have been there.

I had a look at the Infinite Monopoly album, and that is also a mess: No track times, track list is incomplete and most of the track titles are wrong anyway (only the first track actually belongs on the album!).

I'm not going to alter anything with this one myself, since I think someone else needs to see what's happened here. Maybe Julien needs to run his script over the album database and compile a list of all the albums that this fellow has added, since if these ones I've seen tonight are anything to go by it could reveal quite a large can of worms.

Here is the correct data anyway (see AllMusic or YouTube Music):

1. Honeymoon (3:08)
2. 40 Days (3:09)
3. Prima Nocte (2:51)
4. Smoking Gun (4:16)
5. Fatter (4:19)
6. Safe (0:59)
7. Enom's Theme (2:51)
8. Diet/Lullaby (7:00)
9. Where Your File Begins (4:56)
10. Suburbia (3:16)
11. Too Late (1:02)
12. The Dead Laughtracks (4:44)
13. 40 Nights (2:57)

Total Time 45:28

I'm assuming the musicians list that Chris has given is correct, though I can't confirm it (apart from the fact that the instruments that these guys usually play match those they are credited with on the album), in which case:

- Barak Moffitt / keyboards, guitars, vocals
- Jim Schultz / guitars, programming

With:
- Steve Sidelnyck / drums
- Zach Danziger / drums
- Tony Austin / drums
- Robert Hurst / bass
- Tim Lefevbre / bass
- Gabe Witcher / fiddle

Music & lyrics written by Barak Moffitt (1-11), and Jim Schultz (12,13)
Produced by Jim Schultz

CD Infinite Monopoly Records - IMR1002 (2003, USA)
Digital album

Finally, our current album cover image doesn't match the one that everyone else shows. Correct cover image is here.

Other than that, I think it's OK! LOL

Apart from track 1 'Honeymoon' (40) and track 2 '40 Days' (1.6K), none of the songs have had more than 20 plays in well over seven years on YouTube/YouTube Music, so it's little wonder nobody's rated the album yet on PA. The channel has managed to find just 2 subscribers in all that time lol!

Despite their music's unfortunate lack of reach, I still reckon they deserve to have a better artist photo than that current grainy image of what is supposed to be their album cover:

^ That's the two guys behind the project - Barak Moffit on the left and Jim Schultz on the right.

Edit 2: I have now got to the bottom of the mystery surrounding all those wrong tracks on the 'Product 01A' album. When these guys were added to PA back in 2010, they were working on a new album...and here it is: https://infinitemonopoly.bandcamp.com/album/i-can-hideBig smile

All the 'wrong songs' that Chris included on that debut album are there on the new one! It just took the duo another seven years to get the album finally finished and released...and now it's been added to PA (as best I can with such limited information available).

Edit (again lol!): The plot now thickens yet further with the discovery that the 'I can Hide' album is on all the other streaming platforms as an October 2007 release, yet on Spotify it has © Infinite Monopoly Records 2018 and ℗ Infinite Monopoly Records 2018. Confused I don't know whether to change the release date or not, since if the album was released in 2007, then why would Chris have written in the biography (in 2010) that they were still working on it? Unhappy

I could try try messaging the pair on Facebook to see if I can get to the bottom of this, once the Infinite Monopoly page and the 'Product 01A' album have been tidied up, but Barak hasn't posted anything on there since February 2013, and has only made 10 posts ever (he joined in October 2009) and Jim hasn't posted anything since January 2021, and has only made 15 posts ever (since August 2011). Somehow, I don't think I'd get a reply. LOL

I'm thinking that the songs were written and maybe even recorded as long ago as 2007, but not released to the public until 2017 (on Bandcamp) and 2018 (all other digital platforms). I'm therefore leaving the date of the album's release as it is for now.

- E&O Team: Thanks, David!
It took some time to sort the contents of your post out. I think mentioned pages done now.

Album https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=35829 in Julien's list is lacking any verifiable info on the Internet, but I found the email address of the Aevia Publicity office which handles the band's updates, press releases and tour information etc, so I'll try contacting them for some information.

Everything looks good to me now Eugene, apart from the artist photo on the Infinite Monopoly page, which is displayed on the page with the two photos that I joined together aligned one above the other rather than side by side (as shown in my original post).

This has resulted in a very large and long image on the page (probably as a result of M@X's recent alterations to the page formatting of the main site) with a huge amount of unnecessary white space in between the biography and the rest of the page, and not all of the photo being visible in the browser window (I'm viewing it in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 at the moment, since my usual Chrome browser is still using the cache of the old photo). I think the page would look a lot better if the photo of the two guys was changed for the one with them aligned side by side. The photo would be much reduced in size on the page if this was done, and most if not all of that unnecessary white space would disappear. Embarrassed

2CD Rockadillo Records - ZENCD 2045 (1995, Finland)

The title on the album cover is shown as 'Metamorphosis Live 1977 - 1995', which is also what Discogs says. I haven't altered the title to that myself, because I'm also not sure if this should be in Compilations (as it is now) or Live Albums. It's a bit of both really lol! - so I'll let you E&O guys decide where best to file it. Embarrassed

I'm pretty sure it belongs in Live Albums rather than Compilations, but I suppose because it's pieced together from recordings made at quite a few different locations over a number of years, it could also be considered to be a compilation. RYM certainly has it filed as a compilation, but they also omit the 'Live 1977 - 1995' part from the album title, which might be the reason why they've shoved it there.

I did update the cover with a much sharper 1000x1000 image though. The original was only 300x300, and looked rather grainy when enlarged by M@X's new revamped main site page formatting.

Only 30 albums left to do in that list now. Smile

^ Thank you very much, once again.

And you're entirely right -- moved to Live albums.
