Not surprisingly, a very, very nice poll per my tastes with many options that I want to give recognition to... I will mention some of my favourites.

This is tough, Kate Bush's Hounds of Love has been the most important to me over the years, but Weyes Blood's And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow has been one of my most played albums over recent years. Susanne Sundfor's Music for People in Trouble is another super stand-out for me. And I adore Juana Molina's Un Dia. I really like that Bjork album, listened to that Julia Holter recently and like it more than ever, Fiona's Apple's is great, and I like Chelsea Wolfe... I will give it Weyes Blood, Bush will get lots of recognition, but if this were multiple choice then I would vote for various of these.

I never get tired of sharing this, sorry if others getting tired of seeing it.

So Paul, this time we got the exact same two five star albums:). Loads of great music here. As with all of Joni's first nine studio releases (and both of the live ones), I love For the Roses*, but still I've placed five albums above it

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
Weyes Blood - And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow
Juana Molina - Un Dia
P J Harvey - Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea
Susanne Sundfor - Music for People in Trouble
Joni Mitchell - For the Roses

I haven't really gotten around to thoroughly investigate rest of these artists full discography. And while I do appreciate the artistic integrity of artists such as Björk, Tori Amos, St. Vincent, Julia Holter, Laurie Anderson, Lana Del Rey, Fiona Apple... I guess I won't ever "obsess" with them and check out everything they've released. Something I might do with Chelsea Wolfe and Anna von Hausswolff at some point.

-I have also listened to Vespertine, Lust For Life, Fetch the Bolt Cutters and Masseducation... But not in depth (although I actually own the first of these). They all have their moments - or songs I enjoyed, but none of them has really stuck with me.

*but it might be my ninth favorite among those.

Chelsea Wolfe. I'm a member of a faction of control and shift keys.

Cool list, love female singer/songwriters. Lots in this list I've heard and liked, some stuff that's new to me. Gave it to St Vincent although Bjork was a close second. Good stuff.

One of Hounds of Love, Vespertine, or All Thoughts Fly. Chances are Anna von Hausswolff is the underdog here, so I vote there.
