Wrong album's name, sorry
Unpuzzle! is the correct one
This is a remastered version of that 2011 Unpuzzle! album with three bonus tracks and a different cover. The original songs on the album weren't re-recorded for this reissue, just remastered, so does it actually need to be added as a new studio album? Ermm

The band describe it on Bandcamp as a "deluxe edition of our first album "Unpuzzle!" with remastered songs and three bonus tracks". Maybe the releases information on the original album page could just have a note added saying: "Remastered and reissued as a deluxe edition digital album with three bonus tracks and different artwork in February 2025", with the bonus tracks added at the end of the original tracklist thus:

Bonus tracks on the 2025 remastered deluxe digital edition:
12. Sweet Fantasy (1:54)
13. SmileSnif (Acoustic) (4:07)
14. Treasures of the World (Acoustic) (4:55)

If this approach was adopted then I guess there would also need to be one additional guest vocalist added to the guest list on the original album page:
- Mi Alvelli / vocals (14)

I don't know what the correct way of dealing with something like this would be. Embarrassed
It's kinda similar to this case from December 2020, only on that occasion no bonus tracks were involved.
Similarly here in October 2017, though for this other similar case from July 2016, either approach was considered acceptable.

Thanks, added info to the original entry. Will re-use deluxe page for some newly added release.

I think in cases like these we should have no mercy - 3 or several bonus tracks don't make a new release.
Who are you and who am I to say we know the reason why... (D. Gilmour)

@Julien. Just out of interest, I wonder if you might point your script at the database again and find out how many biographies and albums contain the dreaded ï¿½ where there should be a letter with a diacritic above it?
Someday, I will do the albums... Smile

Over the past five days, I've re-scanned all of PA's album pages — nearly 80,000 in total.

Now, I can analyze them in any way you'd like.

To my surprise, only eight pages have the "" issue:

These should be easy to fix. - E&O Team: Now they are all fixed!

Would you like me to check for anything else in this fresh database? Smile

I can't think of anything at the moment. Once those eight are fixed, hopefully the "" issue can be consigned to history thanks to your message to M@X, and whatever he did as a result of it to eliminate that particular bug.

You scanned the albums database back at the end of January 2021 to reveal all the other common issues that occur when site members add albums without due care and attention, and there were 16257 albums with no total time, somewhere around 9768 albums without individual track times, 59 albums with empty track lists, 2443 albums with empty line-ups and 4928 albums with empty release info.

We dealt with the 59 empty track lists as a team effort, but the rest of it was considered to be an impossible task, so was left alone. Doubtless even more of these albums with incomplete data will have been added during the four years that have elapsed since you last scanned the database, but since we are powerless to do anything about it there's not really any point in scanning the fresh database that you have just compiled, other than for interest's sake. Perhaps another check for empty track lists might be worth doing, since any more of those that have been added in the last four years would be fairly easy to correct again.

I guess it would be interesting to know just how much these other lists have grown over the last four years as well even if we can't do anything to fix them, so if you have the time to do it, then why not? Tongue

^ Well, there have been some nice improvements since 2021. Most of the numbers have decreased, despite the fact that the database has grown significantly. See for yourself:
  • 59 albums with empty track lists, now 4
  • 16257 albums with no total time, now 15013
  • 9768 albums without individual track times, now 9316
  • 2443 albums with empty line-ups, now 2144
  • 4928 albums with empty release info, now 5228
I think we could fix empty track lists.

Below, I've listed 52 albums that meet at least one of the following criteria:
- No track list at all
- A track list with fewer than 10 characters
- The words "Track title (" are present within the track list

Do you accept this new challenge? Tongue
