Hello, folks. Here's another of my latest Polls, this time dealing with my progressive rock favourites from 1976. My favourite from this list is Triumvirat's "Old Loves Die Hard". Go and pick your fave!

Collins' breakout role in "Trick of the Tail!"
2112 is great for the epic, and Old Loves Die Hard is also a contender.
Interview is a slight step down for GG, but still great all the same.

Genesis over Rush.
The harder question for me would have been Moondawn or Stratosfear?

Stratosfear

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Probably Genesis tbh, but I'm voting Stratosfear
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Nice, two of these are in my top ten of my AP list, Moondawn and Stratosfear. I also like Interview and A Trick of the Tail muckly. 2112 is the only other one in the poll that I know well. I am tempted to go with Stratosfear even if it is listed a little lower in my list below (order is quite arbitrary), but as it has two votes already, I'll go with Moondawn.

My top ten, just for some comparison:

1. Geinoh Yamashirogumi - Osorezan / Dou no Kenbai
2. Cos - Viva Boma
3. Picchio Dal Pozzo - Picchio Dal Pozzo
4. Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Music From The Penguin Cafe
5. Popol Vuh - Letzte Tage - Letzte Nächte
6. Pierrot Lunaire - Gudrun
7. Klaus Schulze - Moondawn
8. Far East Family Band - Parallel World
9. Zanov - Green Ray
10. Tangerine Dream - Stratosfear

Genesis easy choice from this list. A Trick of the Tail is my second favorite album from the band. Rush and Gentle Giant would fall in after that.

Off your list Kansas's Leftoverture would be included in mine. Great album that I would place behind Genesis from 76 in the Prog world. Oxygene from Jean-Michel Jarre would be another I would include. The album cover alone would place Oxygene on my list.

I gave more love to Triumvirat, but it's really a tie between Genesis, Tangerine Dream and Triumvirat

Genesis, Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze at about the same level. Vote for Klaus Schulze (I played this album to death when I was around 18).
