actually, in the Non-Pol-Rel ban policy, PE did one major exception un the 20 years I've posted and it was for the Covid, which of course veered in both dangerous areas, but they moderated heavily (much fighting, as you could expect), despite allowing some leeway. The thread lasted +/- 1 year then was closed.

invariably you've created new profiles, like you do here, over at PE over the years (way more than 10). (something like 10 to15 times a year on each site). I understand they even kicked you out at Steve Hoffman's forum as well. You generally don't last longer than Wallace's incarnations, which is somewhat very puzzling, because he's the worst and you're second or third league in that dep't.TongueWink

In some way's it's too bad because your knowledge is interesting, but you keep breaking the rules that we've asked you don't (like carpet-bombing of BC and YT suggestions, for ex). You'd probably be accepted if you respected what's specifically asked of you (given previous experiences).

Not you're not a spammer and rarely a troll, but/and the PA/PE mods don't check instantly every newcommer,  like you claim. However, they do so when users start complaining about your different incarnations. That's why like here you last anywhere between 4 and 10 weeks on both sites.

If you'd been be cooler, you'd probably be a mainstay on both sites. Smile

That's where I know you. Another PE member, who is not a mod there, however, scours the forum 24/7 and accuses all newcomers of being "Svetonio."

I don't think you're the top poster anymore, but you're probably still in the top 5.

The "cesspool" is totally uncalled for. If you get anymosity there, it's most likely because of your activity about the R Sinclair deal. As I said, some key music-industry members over at PE are very uptight and over-protective about their livelyhood (which payable music).

As for the "unregulated" accusation, this comment is worthy of the current White House administration (if you can call it that).

as I said, Svettie, if you behaved (much) more, you'd probably be accepted, but it would take some patience, because you've got a 10 to 15 years history, and your uncontrolled temper still flares.

Gong, I listened to four albums by them and liked only one.VdGG, I have listened to it all and love their first four albums, especially where they eschew guitar for screeching sax sounds instead.

Area, I am intermittently listening to. I think I have listened to 3 albums by them with the first one being quite great.

Someone mentioned SteveHoffman's forums and it is a decent place as well. I used to post there sporadically but the top threads are sometimes very cliched: like the very same Beatles or Kinks song by song discussion.

Why are you so convinced that Svetonio—like, if you really believe that every newbie on PE and PA is actually that dude hiding behind a bunch of different usernames—actually wanted someone like you to allow him back as 'Svetonio' on the forum? Perhaps the ghastly Svetty, if he's really creeping on you all the time, totally enjoys messing with you by playing around with his VPN app and a variety of different usernames.

I always thought both PE and PA were quite similar. I try not to get involved in the personal interactions of members. especially call out threads. Maybe the mood is a bit lighter at PE. Anger issues and call-outs tend to go awry at any forum.

A call out is when you bring negative attention and comment about another member (by name) because you have a personal problem with them. And then a thread results. I’d list an example but then I would be making a callout thread. Lol

The whole svetonio thing has become almost comical and cliche at this point. The boogie man lives!

"Promoting yugo-bands"? Really? Don't tell me that you count as "promoting" a few YouTube videos on different threads. Okay, I see. Anyone who posts a video by an "ex-yugo-band" is Svetonio, mmmm…

But, as far as I know, your go-to forum dude Svetonio is "promoting" bands from everywhere, including the "Heart of Europe." No cap, he's been doing his thing on another forum for more than a decade now.

This is not a fantastic thing but more like being treated like children if you ask me. If PE is so great then why bother being here at all and just stay over there? My guess is that it's just a little boring and Meh.

It does get a bit edgy round here for sure but that is because people are not perfect. What you have described is a sci-fi version of hell LOL
