I am also less familiar with the Division Bell. I don’t know if you ever watch Rick Beato’s interviews on YouTube, but he recently interviewed David Gilmour … and separately Tori Amos. I’m glad someone is doing that. I’m a guitar player, but probably my favorite interview of his is Rick Wakeman. Now he knows how to spin a yarn. It really makes me appreciate the recording process back then. The Alan Parsons interview is wonderful, too (and his discussions on recording Pink Floyd).

I've seen a few Beato videos. He does a pretty good job imo. I own an electric guitar but never really learned how to play. I want to learn but it's kind of hard to do on an electric.

It is a beaut of a debut, that is for sure.  When I first heard it, I didn't know what to think of it.  At that point, I'm fairly sure that Working Man is the only song that I had previously heard, during a concert, but I have grown to love this album.

It serves an entirely different purpose (and perhaps fan base) than the entire rest of their discog, but there's nothing wrong with that. It is also one of my most effective workout albums. The time just flies by when that album is cranked.

I might have to try that.  Metallica always gets my adrenaline going when working out.

Castle Canyon - Gods of 1973

Those who like ELP or keyboard oriented prog definitely need to hear this. Very underrated stuff.

I like it. I was first thinking that it is way ahead of its time for 1973, but someone in the comments mentioned it was released in the 2000s. I think 2009. I love the retro keyboard textures.

From what I understand the material was composed between 73 and 76 or thereabouts but not actually recorded until the 2000s. The productiton definitely sounds modern although it does sound like mostly vintange instruments (especially in the keyboard dept.).
