I've enjoyed the more dissonant or high-energy Canterbury music for a long time, but now I'm older I want to hear some of the quieter, pastoral, English-countryside-hedgehog type stuff. Can anyone recommend something? I'm not a fan of Twee British Pop of that era, but I do enjoy Pink Floyd's Meddle LP. I'm looking for not just happy sounds, but tiny, intimate, sunny-day sounds, if that makes any sense. Something to play when you walk around the park looking for mushrooms or lichens. Thanks for reading!

I would like to propose Supersister's mastermind Robert Jan Stips' album Retsis Repus–Supersister Projekt 2019. It's a sophisticated Canterbury jazz rock music that is simultaneously sunny and pastoral.
