   SAS Rogue Heroes - Season 2This is one of Steven Knight's pet projects post Peaky Blinders and is about the birth of the world famous 'Special Air Service' regiment during WW2. This takes it up just to before the D-Day landings and comparing to Season 1 gets a little bit away from the 'Boys Own Adventure' larger than life story telling. Here we get a lot more of the brutality and sheer raw nastiness of war. One episode in particular involving children is extremely hard hitting. An absolute must watch for anyone with an interest in WW2. 8/10
