   Yeah just gonna give you the full story. The first prog band that I ever 

liked was Kansas. I didn't know this though, and I was pretty young. The 

first Prog band that I liked that I realised was prog was Yes. and a little 

before that i was into styx (once again not knowing that they were prog). 

My favorite prog bands are:

Yes

Styx

Kansas

King Crimson

Dream Theater)

Asia

Emerson Lake And Palmer

Pink Floyd

Jethro Tull

Supertramp

and some of Bill Brufords solo work (thanks to progarchives!  )

I mainly like symphonic prog and often drift towards prog metal. but im 

loking into fusion as well. oh yeah and i like much of the 70's prog. the 

eighties were sort of a dark time for prog. PEACE!

	Agreed. You know what they say? That the 80s suck. The late 60's and early-mid 70's were incredible for prog rock. Yes, Genesis, and King Crimson are all from this time. I mean how can't anyone like this time peroid for music?
