Moving on to 2006, this time with the proper number of ten entries on the poll! Sorry for missing out on in 2005... LOL
I am kicking things off with a vote for Spock's Beard!

I'll give Focus a vote
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

First vote for Nexus. Oars and candle molds and more spoons in the other unit.

Much weaker year compared to 2005. I'll vote for Focus.

I voted for Kotebel's Omphalos.   I found that to be one of my most exciting contemporary finds of 2006 after discovering the band's website before the official release date of Omphalos. I used to be a huge fan of Focus (classic Focus anyway), and I enjoyed that album. One album that was much lauded at the time that did little for me is PFM's Stati di Immaginazione. Classic PFM was a particular fave of mine in the mid 2000s. I have not listened to it again since 2006 and might feel differently now.
