Exotic Dana Gillespie in a Middle Eastern setting wearing what appears to be a salad bowl on her head. It's all really quite bazaar, which reminds one of journalist John Simpson when he got caught trying to sneak into Afghanistan dressed in the all-enveloping traditional costume of an Afghani woman, but was given away by his short fat hairy legs. JOHN BARRY       (1933-2011)      From Yorkshire with Love.....  John Barry is/was without doubt England's best-known film composer. He was the man with the golden touch and licensed to thrill when it came to writing magnificent, lush movie scores, loaded with power, passion and romance, but the music he'll no doubt always be remembered for is the the theme to the James Bond movie franchise, originally by Monty Norman, but adapted and arranged by Barry for Dr. No (1962). John Barry was once famously married to Jane Birkin (Je t'aime, mon amour Broken Heart). He only lived once, but what an incredible life! John Barry is sadly no longer with us, but we can take a quantum of solace from knowing his marvellous music will live on forever in our hearts.  Heart
