As mentioned in of the previous polls, here comes the new batch dedicated to symphonic prog from the 21st century! I will keep the same format as before, with 10 albums featured in each poll, and will cast the first vote in these series which goes to Spock's Beard's 'V'.

Spock's Beard. My introduction to the band, back when it was released.

I'm going to vote Glass Hammer in many of these polls (when the option is there) but I like that Kansas album a ot (the last with Steve Walsh and Kerry Livgren) and saw them on the tour that followed. Still voting for Glass Hammer though.

Largely Greenslade, although I like to while away an afternoon with Renaissance too.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

that Greenslade album is utterly abysmal Paul... an embarrassment to the legacy

Large Afternoon just happens to be my favourite Greenslade album by far.

I don't mean this disrespectfully, but sometimes I genuinely wonder what it is you listen for in the structure of the music to come to some of the conclusions you do... I only own it because its on the 2nd disk to Greenslade Live... otherwise, it would have been booted out years ago and has to go down as the poorest album remaining in my collection... edit: I've just checked up: Greenslade 3.70, Bedside 3.60, Spyglass 3.35, Time 3.02, Cactus 3.55, Large Afternoon... 2.37

I'll take the cotton wool out of my ears the next time I listen to Greenslade's Large Afternoon.
