Atlantic Bridge (UK) for JR/F - Progressive Rock Music Forum

Surprised this possible entry escaped PA's attention that long, especially that their sole (and Self-titled) album was released on the prog label of Dawn and remastered on the Esoteric label

Daryl Runswick (bass),

Mike Travis (drums)

just like stablemates Comus and Demon Fuzz, they also released an EP, which found its place on the Esoteric reissue

I'm not able to produce a bio for the entry, for I know nothing of the band.

With all due respect, we can't in all fairness evaluate this artist then. Even if there's little info to be found about the band itself you could still string together a very basic block of text talking about what they sound like or who the musicians were.

This band was suggested for inclusion in JR/F back in April 2006, though the sub genre wasn't actually included in the topic title. Steve Trowbridge (aka Mystic Fred) said he'd investigate, but that's as far as it went.

There was an Atlantic Bridge entry added to Progfreak (now Awesome Prog) about a year or so afterwards, but no country appears to have been assigned to them, and no releases were added, so Mike would need to edit that to include the country of origin if you decide to evaluate.

Regarding a biography, if the text that Hugues has provided above isn't regarded as being sufficient, I could provide you with quite a reasonable biography for these guys within a few days if needed. I already found sufficient info to do this, I would just need a bit of time to sort it out and edit it into something useable.

well, look at our site sites who are still including many more entries daily than we are: they have no qualms in copy-pasting bios with given credit/source (like AllMusic). JMA has much fewer collabs than we do - don't know for MMA, though.

I just don't have the time to produce bios anymore (I must've written some 200, many of them unattributed) and if for historical bands, once written, it can be +/- permanent, for current bands, you'd have to rewrite their bios every 5 years, just to keep up.

TBH, I don't care in AB is in PA, soince they're already in JMA, but for PA's completeness' sake copy/pasting would do the trick.
