Recently:
****.  Family - Bandstand (with the remarkable radio sleeve)
***** Fairport Convention - The History of FC - all songs excellent!
***** Illusion - Out of the Mist  (follow-up of Renaissance I)
****.  Illusion - same
***** Brainticket - Celestial Ocean (with the poster that visualized Joel Vandroogenbroeck's compositions). In June 1973, I saw a fantastic Pavel Smok / Brainticket performance in Stadttheater Basel)
****.  Al Di Meola / John McLaughlin /Paco de Lucia - Friday Night in San Francisco - Guitar virtuosos!
****.  Roger Waters - The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking (unique time stamps for dreams, enticing melodies)
***** Dana Gillespie - Ain't Gonna Play No Second Fiddle (sometimes strange texts, but laid-back music and a wonderful voice)
***** Buffalo Springfield - Once Again (from Box Set, disc 4) - 23 numbers with gems like: For What it's Worth, Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing, Out Of My Mind, Mr. Soul, Everydays, Expecting to Fly, Bluebird, Rock & Roll Woman, and to top that, the mini-suite Broken Arrow.

UFO - Guru Guru Whilst this debut album had it's moments [especially on the piece titled to the Llama], much of the instrumentation from other songs fell poorly onto me.

Can - Live at Keele This is an archival recording from the band, mainly a collection of loose jams.I don't think they play or base any of these live songs from any of their studio material. This runs over an hour and is okayish. [honestly, the final 25 min variant almost tired me out].

A great line-up for sure and thanks for reminding me of Dana Gillespie. Thumbs Up

Dear Paul, thank you for your extensive search for music in all forms and your listing with stars. Dana Gillespie is indeed a pleasant surprise.
I will make some time to go through my collection of LP's and CD's to find interesting or remarkable works to share with the community here. Looking forward to re-listen and occasionally listen for the first time and report here.

That's great. I just added Dana Gillespie to my Easy Listening A-Z playlist, so she'll be coming up right after Nino Ferrer, but in the meantime here's Dana with "Weren't Born a Man" (which is obvious from her album cover photo). Smile
