AMPACITY A heavy Space Rock band from Poland with the capacity to ramp up the volume to maximum Ampacity, so better keep the ear muffs handy, because this band are no cotton candy.
THE AMORPHOUS ANDROGYNOUS Aside from their first album - which sounds like an Ecstasy-fueled acid trip for the rave generation - The Amorphous Androgynous are difficult to pin down to one particular genre, hence the name, and if you're expecting Peter Hammill (of VDGG fame) to sing on their final album, then you're going to be left feeling disappointed as he only appears on the last song - although that might come as a blessed relief to some.
Hey Paul don't know if you've already gone through the extensive album list by the mighty Sendelica and all their offshoots (and there are lots including 'The Stoned Lost Pandas' etc) The latest (as possibly last?) album 'A requiem for Mankind' has just been released, the last of a 4 double album cycle of instrumental space-rock/ electronica-psychedelia based around the history of the human race. They worked with Nik Turner to produce his last album 'I do what i Like' a couple of years back. C'mon Paul do your thing and give us an extensive list of Pete Bingham and his cohorts creative output of contemporary Cosmic brilliance!

Thanks for dropping by to say hi. I listed all of Sendelica's albums back in 2021, so I just need to somehow find the time to add all of the YouTube links now as I work my way through the alphabet. Anyway, here's a brief recap of Sendelica's album listings so far, although I still have lightyears to travel before I finally reach Zone Six in the spacetime continuum.
^ Thanks Paul; the Three lps to add since you made that list (along with 'And Man created God..') are their best by far
Thanks. All updated now up to 2024 with added cosmic links to hyperspace (where available), complete with the title track from Sendelica's latest album, Requiem for Mankind. It's out of this world!

A-Z of Space Rock
AMPLIFIER Tense nervous headache? Want something that'll lessen the pounding brain pain? In that case then, you'd better give Amplifier a wide berth and take a Disprin tablet instead. British band Amplifier play their music loud and proud with amps that go all the way up to eleven. Well, what did you expect with a band name like Amplifier!? What you hear is what you get. They're exactly what it says on the label. And you thought Spinal Tap were loud!? No, you ain't heard nothing yet, although the all-out assault on the eardrums does slacken off a bit with Amplifier's fourth album, "Echo Street" (hence the 4-star rating). With that said though, this slammin' piledriving band are Porcupine Tree with knobs on! It's enough to wake Lemmy of Motorhead from his grave. If you fancy something a little more mellow, then try listening to Burt Bacharach instead, as you won't find it here. This is as loud as Space Rock gets, so don't say I didn't warn you. And so, onto the kaleidoscopic video below..... Enjoy the Rainbow Machine light show.
ANDROMEDA SPACE RITUALPoland's answer to Hawkwind! Andromeda Space Ritual are from the Polish town of Kraptowice. There's nothing remotely krap about their astounding sounds and amazing music though. Andromeda Space Ritual are in Pole position when it comes to universal Space Rock from Eastern Europe, so get strapped in and prepare for the ride of your life as they take you on a psychedelic space trip across the universe without having to leave the comfort of your armchair.
