The following is a translation of a German article about Keith Emerson's impression of New Triumvirat's "Pompeii" album, and how the album's initial reception was in the USA.

New Triumvirat have finally emerged from the shadow of their famous role models Emerson, Lake & Palmer. This was confirmed by none other than Mr. Emerson himself! During the production of the first “Rock Pop”-TV-Show in the ZDF studios in Munich the two keyboard stars Keith Emerson and Jürgen Fritz met for the second time. The first encounter five years ago was befitting: Fritz "was allowed" to go to the sound check in the hall before an ELP gig in Essen to watch his idol at work up close. The second meeting was completely different, as Triumvirat now has two completed US tours and released three Albums which stormed the American charts.
While the Cologne band played their title "The Hymn" from the new album "Pompeji" in the TV studio, Emerson sat fascinated in front of the monitor in the projection room - and was not disturbed by Lake and Palmer or the numerous courtiers who had arrived. After the set, Keith spontaneously congratulated his German colleague: “Jürgen, I really like The Hymn. I heard it on the radio stations almost every day during our last US tour, and I'm sure "Pompeji" will be a hit album. I've got it now!"
Jürgen Fritz was impressed from this praise: "Keith confirmed to me what I had also heard from the managers of my American record company: Pompeji is very well received in the States. So far, 80.000 records have been sold there. Now I just hope that the LP will be high in the charts when our US tour starts in March."
