I've only previously heard of four of the bands in the poll - Katatonia; Mastodon; Tool: and The Mars Volta - none of which I'm a fan of, so that doesn't bode well for me liking the other six unknown bands. Confused

Out of these: Agalloch. Probably their best record too.

I'm glad you mentioned this special band, and right now this one and The Mantle are my favourites from them. I still have to get to "Marrow Of The Spirit" which I plan to, once I get to the last of my Metal albums.
