Having listened half-heartedly to Cyrus goat yodel through "Comfortably Numb", I find it necessary to paraphrase the acerbic columnist and critic Dorothy Parker, "This performer ran the gamut of human emotion all the way from A to B."

She sang the whole damn thing in monotone, when the dynamic of the song is based on the variances between Roger Waters and David Gilmour's wholly different deliveries.
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Hahah…. A to B.   That’s a pretty hard burn. Poor Miley. But can she sell records or what? I wonder if the sale of PFs catalog to Sony has a lot to do with this ?

Very often talented musicians in search of money or just captured by the mainstream give up to their artistic ambitions to do what the label wants. Later, after having secured the wealth and the audience some try to make the things they really like.

Let me point out this guy:

This is a crappy pop song from Alex Britti

This is a live performance with Tommy Emmanuel

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution
