Well, it seems i don't know that many L bands.  EmbarrassedSmile

Le Orme (The Footsteps) is a favourite of mine, and I planned to put it under O due to the "Le" article. L'Rain is in this poll, but then I was not sure if that need be taken as an article in that case.

I keep forgetting "le" is a definite article. Smile

^ Sorry, I can't quite resist.

From Doctor Who with Tom Baker.

"I'm the Doctor."
"No, Doctor, I'm the doctor and I say that you're not fit."
"You may be a doctor, but I am THE Doctor, the definite article you might say."

^ Doctor Who takes the Eurostar transporter. Tongue

Doctor Who: "What will the time be when the transporter arrives at it's destination?"
Ticket Seller: "12:45"
Doctor Who: "1245. A wonderful year! I should be just in time for the Battle of Preston".

^ Love Jon Culshaw, seen lots of his Doctor Who stuff (and he some hilarious "prank" call calling the actors who played The Doctor") "Cracking hooters".

I used to play this every Christmas with my kids.

^ I'd love to have seen hard man Christopher Eccleston's Doctor Who grabbing hold of a Dalek by its sink plunger and kicking it over with his Doc Marten boots. Tongue

^ that would be Ace. Doc martin could help out. We did see Eccleston getting very pissed with a Dalek anyway.

-----------------------

For my L vote, I go with Leila (a companion to Tom Baker's Doctor).

Seriously my votes are: Lingua Ignota, Dear Laika, and... Tough to choose between Franco Leprino and Perry Leopold, so much like in The Running Man when an audience member was unsure between Buzzsaw and Dynamo, I'm getting both.

^ Worth checking out.

In my early list I just covered stuff mostly thta I have been into recently, and then I tried to put more thought into them. M is quite a magnificent letter for music and so I have many Ms to choose 25 from. And this being by own choices, it lacks very popular ones (and not so much) like Marillion, Masters of Bukkake, Mostly Autumn, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Mars Volta, My Man's Meat, Pat Metheny, Metallica etc. As always, I will encourage people to list what they like both in the poll and not in the poll.

These are some I have enjoyed albums by over the years. Some I'm still big on, and some that I have not listened to for considerable years. It will be tough paring this list down to just 25.

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not a fan of The Legendary Pink Dots, having listened to several of their offbeat albums recently.  They're too avant-garde for my mainstream tastes, but I have a feeling they'll appeal to Logan. Smile

^ The Legendary Pink Dots most definitely appeal to me. I only list acts in these polls that I like, and it is in the poll.
