Banco, Bowie, and Bubu with Björk and black midi not far behind. Every time I get sealed, I'm covered in wax stains and in dire need of pantyhose.

I can't leave out any of these six, so I haven't voted for any of them:

David Bowie
Kate Bush
black midi
Black Sabbath
Bohren & der Club of Gore
Robbie Basho

-Bauhaus, Brave New World, Tim Buckley and Broadcast would complete my "top ten". I love some Banco, Boredoms, Battiato, Black Widow and Brainticket as well.

^That said, there's no way I'm not gonna end up voting for Kate Bush and David Bowie. Two artists I've loved "all my life" and never grown tired of listening to. I suppose Robbie Basho (wonderful as he is) won't be chosen over the others, but between the remaining three it's impossible to choose.

It's a multiple vote poll.

Indeed, as a third choice I suggest going with your booty.

The "Indeed" was in response to your mentioning that "It's a multiple vote poll", the "as a third choice I suggest going with your booty" was in response to Scott saying "My head says Banco but my heart says black midi". I was humorously suggesting a third body part. Sounded more funny in my bone than it was, no doubt. I have been told that I have a horrible sense of humour and it's not uncommon for people to make the right associations to get the joke. I live quite an insular life and of course my family knows me so they get the jokes cause they have some idea of how my mind works. There was a member who had a Reed (Reedlover, Tony R) joke fail count at PA, no doubt I have well surpassed that tally. Quite pathetic.

That is funny, but you should have quoted Scott, not me, it would have made more sense. LOL

^ As a matter of principle I like to include others who quoted the same (don't want people feeling ignored). Your post was relevant but I should have mentioned Scott by name. What's obvious in my head might not be easily figured out by others and I did not put enough thought into how I phrased the post. Mea culpa. Oh, one thing in humour, though, is that part of the humorous reaction often comes from figuring it out, that shock of realisation, so there is value in having the other person take some time to work out how it might make sense. It's why often the most obvious of jokes are too obvious to be funny. I used to be a professional comedy webwriter; now that sounds like a joke!

Earlier letters are somewhat better it seems; this one is very hard, too, and again I like to support bands that don't have votes yet. Of those: Broadcast, Bohren & der Club of Gore.
Now I go up with the "votes already" number and find Boards of Canada at 1. (Sorry Bjork, 3 votes were already too many.)

From the list, Banco, Sabbath, and Bubu.

Not on the list. I would say Blue Öyster Cult and Il Balletto di Bronzo.
