Camembert Electrique for me too, but then that is the only album I know well out of these. I know I have heard L, but I also remember that I preferred both Fish Rising and Green to it. I have heard music from Expresso I, but it wasn't very memorable for me and I don't recall liking it much. By the way, I know I'm jumping ahead, but when it comes to Gong, it's mostly about the Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy for me (Flying Teapot, Angel's Egg, You). |

Yup, and TBF, Hillage's L is not even in the same galaxy. I don't understand how it is running away with this poll.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Expresso II, but I didn't know the Malherbe/Emeric album and really need to listen to that as a fan of Mr Bloomdido. Thanks for digging out a link!
PS: Yeah. I love it. Edited by Lewian - July 29 2024 at 10:08 |

Blooming marvellous. I'm glad you liked it. All of Didier Malherbe's albums are new to me, so I'm hearing them for the first time here.

It's thanks to Grumpy that Allan Holdsworth is included in the poll.
