All great albums but I’ve gone for Errata Corrige since I don’t think they’ll get many votes….

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Picchio Dal Pozzo
Agora Roberto Colombo Celeste Corte Dei Miracoli That Picchio dal Pozzo album is easily my pick, but I wanted to mention these other favourites. That Colombo debut is pretty cool with the Perigeo sax player and PFM drummer and three from Nuova Idea helping him out and more. A jazz fusion album for the most part. |

A band that sounds like an Italian bank run by the Mafia, where they make you an offer of a loan you can't refuse. |

Very nice poll.
Not surprisingly, that's much like my faves, although I would bump Maladetti to third spot. And I would want to mention Elektriktus' Electronic Mind Waves from the list. A favourite of mine not on the list is Il Reale Impero Britannico's Perché si uccidono. |

Thanks! Libra's Winter Day's Nightmare was a last-minute addition to the poll, but Demetrio Stratos' Metrodora album truly was a nightmare to listen to. Undoubtedly, the worst Italian album I've ever heard, although someone - maybe Lewian - will probably vote for it now.

Great Poll, Paul!
It was hard for me to chose between two faves of mine, Libra's Winter Day's Nightmare and Il Baricentro-Sconcerto, and I decided to go for Il Baricentro. Found it in a used record shop around 1988 in Ottawa. What a great recording!

It makes a nice change for me to have included all of your favourites in a poll for once.
