If Neal Morse were ever to work with any RIO artists, the collaboration would undoubtedly be interesting. I would guess it would not work for either fan base.

Maybe someone could get an AI to do an Art Zoyd/Neal Morse concoction.

Surprised to see so much hate for Rush and hardly any hate for ELP. I actually thought ELP would get the largest amount of disgust.
ELP are well respected I'd think (if not all of their albums); they are "Big 6" member for a reason. I don't think many people feel really negative about them, there are just a number of people who think they are not quite as great as some others say they are. They may be disappointing for some given the hype (in the old days), but they are hardly bad in absolute terms.

^ on a big six poll that was going round, ELP were getting the most votes followed by Tull (although the question was more along the lines of 'who would you replace on the top 6' than actually dislike.
ELP earned their reputation by being there at the start. It seems that Rush (and maybe a few others) perhaps are seen as ''second generation'' prog bands. The votes for The Mars Volta suprise me a little. I don't listen to them that often but they cut through and became important to a lot of prog fans. Bands such as IQ and Magenta are far less interesting so they seem to get a 'pass' somehow. Might have been interesting of Muse had been included on the list. I think they would have attracted a few votes. I consider them an art pop/rock band exploring quite proggy areas with some tracks.

Love 90% of all of these fantastic bands! The band that I don’t like is big train.
