Look To Windward's third album 'The Last Scattering Surface' is out now.
Prog rock/metal from New Zealand (although I'm now living in the Netherlands). Could be for fans of Devin Townsend, Porcupine Tree or Karnivool.

Any feedback or reviews would be much appreciated Embarrassed

Listening links are here: linktr.ee/looktowindward
I can give out some Bandcamp download codes if anyone would like to add it to their collection for review too. Just let me know Big smile

I'm looking forward to reviewing this one.  I'm impressed!

Too late for a DL Code. I bought it already.

Your vocals remind me of a more subdued and refined Cedric Zavala from Mars Volta. I'm giving it a good listen and I hear PTree, YES and Mars Volta influences.  The drum tracks are excellent. The guitars are great. Emily Rice makes a huge huge mark me with "Theia arrived one day".  And the overall composition of Theia is spectacular and quite beautiful.

Thanks Valdez! Some very flattering comparisons there. I'm definitely a fan of all those artists.
Interestingly, Theia had the most changes to get to where it is. I reworked that song a lot. And yea, Emily sounds beautiful on it.
