We have two new album reviews posted on the website at www.lazland.org this evening, both very worthy of your attention.

First up is Finnish outfit, Magician's Red with a very interesting commentary on sexuality and health, Endless Yearning.

Second is perennial quality outfit, The Tangent with To Follow Polaris.

To see both, simply go to the homepage and click on the relevant button.

First new album review of this new week (I will try to get a second up by the close of the week, but I am busy working on the second video in the "Old Album, New Thoughts" series, this one Yes and 90125).

The album is a stunner from singer-songwriter Jenny Colquitt, and her Staring at the Moon. Very much worthy of you checking it out.

If it wasn't for the great guitar in that song I'd be really bummed out.  Astute Review.

The Lazland website has a sister video channel on YouTube, also called Lazland and @stevelazenby6484.

This evening, I have posted the second of my “Old Album, New Thoughts” series, this the direct sequel to my discussion of Drama, Yes and 90125, with discussion about all the main players, music from Asia, Magnification (!), and, naturally, 90125. I loved it when I wrote my original review – what about 2024?

I have had so much positive feedback for the first video discussing Drama, for which I am tremendously grateful. I really hope you enjoy this one at

New album review time on www.lazland.org, and tonight we have an interesting duo, The Echo Veils, with their The Calm Beneath The Noise, a tale of love and separation.

Pop along to the homepage, and click on the button to listen to a very strong album.

More great stuff Steve! The Echo Veils certainly is interesting, and you hit the new Tangent album right on the nose with your review. It's if these veteran artists were hit with a shot of rejuvenating juice lately. A great time  to be listening to prog. Cheers.

Rather later than usual (it is getting hectic here in Lazland, what with the website, video channel, radio work, and coming soon, some exciting news about a new podcast), there are two new album reviews uploaded tonight to www.lazland.org, still the greatest advert-free music website you are likely to encounter on the World Wide w**kery Web.

First up is Finnish outfit, Lighthouse Sparrows, with their new EP, the second part of Dark Matter.

Second, the incredibly talented John Holden with his new album, Proximity & Chance, pure class.

As ever, pop along to my homepage and click on the links. Whilst you are at it, on the video channel (link on the homepage as well), you will see the second part of my Old Album, New Thoughts series, this one the follow-up to Drama with 90125, and the June edition of my Ruminations series, featuring some wonderful music not played on the website, so all new.

Enjoy, and thank you to all for your support. You are the "without whom" element of this entire project.

It has been a busy day at www.lazland.org and the video channel as well.

We have a new album review, Sloane Square Band and Thoughts, a cracker.

We have the latest Ruminations video for you at https://www.youtube.com/@stevelazenby6484/videos

As if that is not enough, we also have a brand new podcast series produced in association with Progzilla Radio, entitled "A Marillion Life" which examines my life seen through the lens of my favourite band. Part one has been published, and you can listen to this at https://progzilla.com/a-marillion-life/ or via the link on my homepage, where you can also download it.

Enjoy!

Just to let all of you who are kind enough to follow this thread and my website, there will be radio silence for the next week, as Mrs Laz and I are off to Valetta on a much needed holiday.

However, some exciting news will be announced shortly after my return. I have accepted an extremely kind offer from Progzilla Radio to host my own radio show, which I am so delighted with. Details to be thrashed out when I return from Malta, and I will announce it here when done 'n dusted.

In the meantime, I am so grateful to all of you for your extraordinary support for my little music venture. It is greatly appreciated!
