25 other bands. Choose a least/less liked by you

I did a 25 bands I like. Choose a least/less liked by you which perhaps did cover too many of thew usual suspects from me. So here is one that covers ones that don't get as much coverage from me. I'm avoiding many of the biggest names in Prog, and like in the other poll, I am trying to cover some which seem to elicit quite polarising reactions.

Quoting from my first post in the other poll:

The idea is to vote for one, just one of these bands, that you have listened to music by that did not do it for you or did it for you the least from what you know. Preferably you will have listened to at least one full album by the act, or various music across various albums by the act, but that need not be the case. It is normal that some albums or tracks might do it more for you than others by these bands, but I don't wish it to be judged based just on the material you least like by an act (when you might already really like other material by the act), but preferably vote for an act that just did not appeal at all, or much, or least, across your listening of said band. Or approach it as best you can in regards to what you would think suits this poll. If voting for one that seemed not to your tastes, please mention the listened to by you material if you recall. I do hope for discussion element to polls I create, and like specificity as much as possible. If you don't want to play as requested and instead came here to complain about the poll, please just stay away. And maybe make your own awesome poll. I say this because I received such complaints before years ago for a topic with a somewhat similar theme. And if one is to say, "None of them", or some such sentiment, I would ask to be much more specific, explain your position, and go into details about what you have heard of these.

But I want to add to that because I don't think that was sufficient to start with. The purpose of this is mostly entertainment like most any poll. It's really not important, not profound, but hopefully the exercise can be enjoyable and lead to some amicable discussion. I enjoy evaluating and re-evaluating what I like and don't like (I really do not have as static tastes and interests as many), and sometimes someone points out to me a piece of music or an album by an artist that I have not appreciated beforehand, and I really do enjoy the song/album. Sometimes I might even have heard that same music before and I like it now despite not liking it before. That "sharing" has opened up new worlds to me. I appreciate the efforts of people to make recommendations and try to connect me with music from artists that I have stated not being into. Maybe that's because I did not explore enough, heard the wrong stuff, heard the right stuff at the wrong time, in the wrong and with thew wrong expectations. Such topics can lead to discovery and re-assessments if we are communicative with each other, open-minded and attentive.

I enjoy when talking music sharing with people what I like and don't like, exploring what others like and don't like, talking about such things, and making assessments and re-assessments. I enjoy reading people's ideas and seeing how they approach topics. I actually do tend to ignore the poll results, it's the communication through posts that I enjoy. Differences of opinion are healthy, and sometimes people's opinions grew together (synthesis). I feel like these explorations can help me to get to know myself and others better and can make me feel closer to people and more a part of a community. Mostly though, it's just for fun. It can be a positive and enjoyable exercise, and it can be the opposite. If it's not fun for you, you might want to find something else that is fun to do. But there's more to life than fun. And a little pain can be a pleasure. We might even get some decent arguing out of this! :D

I later will share which albums have connected with me the most by which acts and which acts never has least connected with me from those I know reasonably well. The one I really love various albums by of these is Jethro Tull.

I always find The Flower Kings to be bland, but I enjoy Stolt's guitar playing.

Some of my favorites in this group: Rush, ELP, Kansas, PT, Mahavisnu Orchestra, Big Big Train, Tull...

Eloy is the pick. Never moved the needle with me.

Ozric Tentacles probably. 

Too many here I've written off as not for me long ago to vote for a spesific band. I only really like early Jethro Tull and Return to Forever here (and the odd song from another handful of bands). There's something about Neo Prog that has never failed to rub me the wrong way. The sheer sound of it, the melodic lines, the politeness... nothing about it is for me. I much rather listen to some well-crafted AOR.

This is quite easy for me... there is only one band on this list I really struggle with..

Porcupine Tree.

The Mars Volta without a doubt, followed very close by Queensryche and Symphony X.
