EDIT: Ok, I'm listening to this because it jumped into the 2023 top 10 list, but I just noticed that it is basically unlistened, only 15 ratings, it seems to have jumped into the top 10 because of a single 5 star review. The diminished activity level of the webpage and the algorithm are probably causing it so that a single review can skew an albums position so strongly. Seems a little unfortunate. Anyways it seems like pretty competent prog metal so far. Edited by TheGazzardian - May 13 2024 at 10:02 |

I posted this album cover back in March. I've only listened to it once so far but it's a really good one. I suppose it's kind of like Dream Theater (especially Metropolis part 2 SFAM) but not a copycat by any means. It just has that good traditional symph prog metal sound with a little bit of pure prog mixed in. I'd say it's basically a must have for any DT fans for sure. Anyway, it's actually not in the overall PA top ten just the top 10 for 2023 in prog metal (which is still pretty good- it looks like #4 although 65 for all subgenres).
